The entire coast line between Théoule and Menton is listed as a protected site. Before demolishing a certain hotel in order to build another (larger) one, the French Heritage body (SDA) ask for an impact study. |

The study examines the "value" of the land in terms of its contribution to the coastline, determines the sites capacity and establishes the limits of an eventual built programme. |
